This network of railways connects Moscow and the European part of Russia as well as Mongolia and China.

This is perhaps one of the most historic railways in the world and currently has 3 main lines:

• The Trans-Siberian line,
• The Trans-Manchurian line,
• The Trans-Mongolian line.
